The Page Where You Can Find Carpool Friends and Bed-Sharing Buddies (WINK!)

We're so happy you're coming to our wedding! Because it's a (super exotic) destination wedding, everyone's coming from out of town. We figured we'd give you a chance to connect with other guests to make arrangements for carpooling, sharing rental cars, sharing hotel rooms or campsites, or planning matchy-matchy outfits ahead of time.

Here's how it works: we'll set up a number of entries according to geographic region, and you post in the comments with who you are, what you need, and how to get in touch with you. Et voila! Connections are made. (Hint: in the comments you can select "email follow-up comments to me" and you'll be notified as soon as your new bestie replies to your carpooling plea.)

Coming from Chicago

Whether you live in Chicago (or "in Chicago," Denny & Suzanne) or you're flying into O'Hare or Midway, let folks know if you have or need a ride!

Coming from Albuquerque

If you're coming in from Albuquerque, you can look at flying into any of the following airports: Chicago O'Hare, Chicago Midway (Chicago's about a 3 hour drive from Bellevue), Madison (2.25 hours), Milwaukee (3.5 hours), Central Iowa/Cedar Rapids (the closest at 1.75 hours), or even Des Moines (3.5 hrs).

Coming from Iowa

If you're coming from Iowa because you live there, you probably own more than one car and maybe even your own tractor. But maybe you have an extra tent for someone who wants to camp! Or perhaps you're willing to swing through Cedar Rapids and pick up stragglers! One should never underestimate the generosity of Iowans.

Coming from Madison

From Madison, Bellevue is approximately a 2.5 hour drive (about two hours to Dubuque and another 20 minutes down the road to Bellevue). Comment here if you're driving from Madison, Milwaukee, or Oregon.

Coming from the Twin Cities

If you're coming from the Twin Cities you probably don't need to share anything with anyone, because you're just like that. But we thought we'd offer anyway.
